Priyakant Ju Gaushala

As we know, the sacred Bhagavad Gita describes how Lord Krishna lovingly took the cows and calves to graze in the forests of Braj Dham, Vrindavan, and personally cared for them. However, in today’s world, not everyone can keep a cow at home. That’s why it is important to support the maintenance and care of cows by donating to a gaushala (cow shelter).

At Priyakant Ju Gaushala in Vrindavan, you have the opportunity to adopt a cow or a bull, and in doing so, take part in the divine service of Gau-Seva (cow care). If adoption is not possible, one can still contribute, even in a small way, according to their capacity.

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide food, shelter, and medical care to stray, abandoned cows and bulls, retired oxen, and orphaned calves. We ensure they receive:

Fresh grass
Wheat flour and fodder
Clean drinking water
Timely medical care
Safe and peaceful shelter

Why Gau-Seva Matters

In Hindu tradition, the cow is revered as the mother of all living beings. The best way to serve her is by adopting a cow. But we understand it’s not always possible for everyone, as cows require special care, space, and resources.

That’s where your donation to Priyakant Ju Gaushala can make a real difference.

Whether it’s sponsoring a cow’s food for a few months or a whole year, or simply giving what you can — every act of kindness helps.

We not only provide for cows in your name through donations, but we also encourage well-wishers to adopt a cow at our gaushala and experience the joy of true Gau-Seva.
