With a vision to empower and an initiative to support the education of daughters, Pujya Shri Devkinandan Thakur Ji Maharaj offered the ‘Priyakant Ju Kanya Vidyadhan’ to 125 daughters from Braj. Continuing its legacy of enlightenment, the sacred ‘Priyakant Ju Kanya Vidyadhan’ was graciously offered once again on 10 March 2025. Adding to the significance of the event, Smt. Amita Birla, wife of Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla Ji, graced the occasion with her esteemed presence.

Addressing the gathering, Pujya Maharaj Shri highlighted the transformative power of education, he remarked that when a daughter is educated, she empowers her entire family and paves the way for success. He also praised Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for the ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ initiative, he said, is not just a slogan but a powerful movement bringing positive change to the society.

Rooted in a vision of empowerment, this initiative began in 2016 with the inauguration of the Thakur Shri Priyakant Ju Temple. On this significant occasion, Pujya Shri Devkinandan Thakur Ji Maharaj launched a dedicated program to support the education of daughters from underprivileged families in Braj. Under this initiative, every year, financial assistance is provided from the temple fund to help 125 deserving girls to pursue their education.

Like every year, this year too, ‘Priyakantju Kanya Vidyadhan’ was provided to the daughters of Braj for education from Thakur Shripriyakantju Temple Fund. Mathura MP Smt. Hema Malini also participated in this program. Smt. Hema Malini met Pujya Maharaj Shri and discussed with the organization about the problems being faced by daughters in education and highlighted many points to boost the morale of daughters.

 Kanya Vidyadhan is being given continuously since the year 2016 by Pujya Shri Devkinandan Thakur ji Maharaj and Vishwa Shanti Seva Charitable Trust for the education of 125 girls from needy families; for the last 9 years this amount is being given for the education of girls.
